The Silence Teatro Association was founded in Lovere, in the province of Bergamo, in 1985 by a group of students of the School of Theatrical Expression “Silence Studio” led by the most important masters of Contemporary Research Theatre in Europe.

Our theatre company is based on a theatre that privileges the body as a means of expression and communication, characterised by research into forms of expression tending towards the union between THEATRE and ENVIRONMENT.

Our Open Spaces shows originate from this concept, which have led Silence Teatro to participate in numerous important festivals throughout Italy, Europe and Asia.
